The Playa case comes from two industrious dudes named Rob Ward and Chris Peters and comes from OpenaCase.com with the idea originating on Kick Starter. It has attained funding, so look for it soon at an online retailer near you for about $30 in three different colors such as white, black and pink.

Have you seen or heard of the Cord on Board case for the iPhone? This is the debut project of CaseInity, a small start up based in Philadelphia.

The clever iPhone case is an innovative idea that stores a USB charging and synching cord onto the case itself. Hence the name – Cord On Board. We love the idea, the look and story behind the case. All of it.

A trio of college buds came up with the idea and initially tried to get the case to come to life by adding the project to crowd platform Kick Starter, however they did not reach their goal of $20,000 for production. However as noted on the homepage of Kick Starter they were able to subsequently acquire funding and are now in the production phase of Cord on Board with pre-orders beginning March 19th, 2012.
